Notification Center
The Notification Center is a dedicated overview of system-generated notifications: things Sophia wants to bring to your attention, such as an expiring eAgreement or an eFact submission that was rejected.
TIP
This section is only visible if the Notification Center is enabled for your account. You'll find it as its own item in the main menu, with a badge showing how many unread notifications you have.
What You See
Each notification shows:
- Date: when it was generated.
- Type: Email, Prescription, eAgreement, or eFact.
- Level: Notification, Info, Warning, or Error.
- Patient: if the notification concerns a specific patient, their name links straight to their record.
- Read: whether you've already marked it as read.
- Message: what happened. A prescription notification links directly to the relevant prescription; an eFact or eAgreement notification links to the matching eFact submission or the patient's approval request, with the reference pre-filled in the search box there.
What Triggers a Notification
- Email: a confirmation or reminder email was sent for an appointment.
- Prescription: a patient's prescription has very few remaining sessions left, or none at all.
- eAgreement: an eAgreement is about to expire, or has been completed.
- eFact: an eFact submission was accepted, partially accepted, or rejected.
Filtering and Marking as Read
By default, only unread Info, Warning, and Error notifications are shown. Use the level checkboxes to change which levels you see, or tick Show all notifications to also include ones you've already marked as read.
Click the checkmark button next to a notification to mark it as read. It then disappears from the list, unless Show all notifications is ticked.
